Prism House is a Brooklyn-based audio/visual electronic duo focused on aesthetic and form in an internet age. Landfall, the group’s follow up to their 2013 debut Reflections, is a culmination of tracks spanning the beginnings of the group up through its most current state. The Landfall EP expands upon the groups debut with darker and heavier dance floor tones mixed with found-sound collage style textures. The nature of the record is urban and dense with an aim to truly embody what we find exciting about electronic music in the present tense. With the ultimate goal being a unique and powerful body of work, the record gathers inspiration from a time of both uncertainty and instability. The result is a collage of tones that pushes the music into a realm inherently its own. Landfall comes as a six-track EP which will be followed by remixes from Chicago’s The-Drum and Denver based, Software affiliate Thug Entrancer.
